Robinson, Hindscarth, Dale Head

Had a lovely day out in the Lakes last weekend. Normally I’m less of a fan of the Lakes, especially during the summer when droves flock thither to spend the good weather in the fells. But our route up Robinson, over Hindscarth and Dale Head and then down the dale back to Littletown, was remarkably quiet for a warm, sunny day. A couple of runners coming down Robinson and a gaggle making the traverse to Honister, but otherwise: solitary. Just the way we like it.
